At present, the width of the light box cloth produced by this process can reach 5 meters. Due to the complex production process and expensive production equipment, such products are mainly imported in the Chinese market, and the price is relatively high. The most representative ones are ULTRALON from Germany, UNIFLEX from South Korea, and SIOEN from Belgium.
Light box cloth calendering method
The calendering method is to fully mix PVC powder with liquid plasticizer and other raw materials, and then bond them to the base fabric under the pressure of high-temperature hot rollers. Its characteristics are good surface flatness and uniform light transmittance, which is more advantageous in internal lighting cloth. However, due to the limitation of equipment, the width is generally not more than 3 meters. The 645 and 945 light box cloths developed by 3M Company in the United States are both produced by this process; the Lucky light box cloth developed by LG Company in South Korea is also a representative of this process.
Light box cloth pasting method
The laminating light box cloth is to heat the upper and lower layers of the formed PVC film, and then laminate them with the light-guiding fiber net in the middle under the pressure of the hot roller, and then cool them to form. The biggest feature of this process is that it has excellent inkjet ink absorption and strong color expression. Therefore, with the rise of large-scale inkjet printing , this type of light box cloth has also brought unlimited vitality. At present, the market share of this type of light box cloth in China has exceeded 70%.
